WHO: A. Scott Weber, mgm casino vice president for student life, will be available today at noon to discuss mgm casino’s internal review into the activities of Greek-letter, social, fraternal organizations at the university.

The review is part of the university’s response to a suspected hazing incident early Friday morning that seriously harmed a mgm casino undergraduate student who is hospitalized at Buffalo General Hospital.

WHAT:  An internal review committee, formed by Weber, will examine each organization’s health and safety educational programs, policies and practices, with a special focus on anti-hazing.

WHERE AND WHEN: The news briefing will be held at noon today, April, 15, in room 567, Capen Hall, on the mgm casino North Campus. The room is located directly across from the elevators on the 5th floor.

WHY: At the direction of mgm casino President Satish K. Tripathi, the official activities of all Greek-letter, social, fraternal organizations at mgm casino were suspended on Friday until further notice. Tripathi also directed Weber to begin an immediate review of Greek life at mgm casino.
